Yap Swee Lin (Lin Chua)

Founder and Trustee ot AUTORR Foundation and CEO / MD of the Dicklln Group, she also sits on the Board of Trustees in Women's Institute of Management (WIM), Director of the Year 1992 by Malaysian Institute of Directors and made a Fellow of MID in 1997. She served as Vice President for Social and Public Affairs ln the Governing Council tor 16 years (since 1988).

  • In 1984, she became a member of Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia.
  • In 1986, she was the first Malaysian lady to be awarded a Professional Diploma in Company Directorship.
  • In 1998, she was elected the first President of National Carpark Association of Malaysia.
  • In 1998, she was Deputy Chairperson of National Management Committee In Malaysian Red Crescent Society.
  • In 2000, she was awarded "International Woman of the Year 2000 - 2001" by IBC Cambridge. England.
  • In 2003, she was awarded "2003 International Peace Prize" by United Cultural Convention. USA.
  • In 2004, she was awarded American Hall of Fame Five Star Award tor distinguished achievements and services by American Biographical Institute, USA.

Liew Fook Choy

  • As a physician in the Ministry of Health in Singapore, he specialises in herbal medicine and acupuncture.
  • Before practicing alternative medicine, he was an engineer specialising in Digital and Laser Equipment.
  • He also teaches Tai-Chi, Qigong and does counseling work.

Dr. Wong Kong Yew (Ph.D., Strathclyde)

  • Tourism Economist Dr. Wong has a unique combination of extensive professional and managerial experience In both education and hospitality industry.
  • He obtained his Ph.D. from the Scottish Hotel School, University of Strathclyde. Glasgow, UK. His specialisation is in corporate strategy and industrial organization.
  • Dr Wong is author of two books. "Value Innovation in Tourism Human Capital Development" and ‘Tourism Industrial Development in Eco Destination'.
  • His professional career sees him as a consultant to the Tourism Ministry in the region. Some highlights are completing an Economic Leakage study for the Ministry of Tourism, drafting the ASEAN Investment Corridor Roadmap for ASEAN, edited a book "Tourism Success Stories and Rising Stars" published by UNWTO.
  • His international recognition and appointments include Deputy Secretary General of International Tourism Studies Association and Fellow at Peking University. Beijing, China.
  • In 2010, Dr Wong was appointed by the Minister of Higher Education, as President of Malaysia Centre for Tourism and Hospitality and Education (MyCenTHE), an Economic Transformation Programme under the Prime Minister's Office. He will continue to lead this national Initiative until year 2020.
